£22,000 - £27,600 + bonus + pension + 27 days holiday + free on-site gym

It is an active and challenging role that requires an exceptionally organised, forward thinking and proactive individual to provide professional, administrative and project support to a growing Estates team within our head office in Malmesbury. Market Overview

The building is the heartbeat of Dyson. Nearly 2,000 people, including James himself, spend their days strategizing, inventing technology and telling the Dyson story to the world. In 2017, our HQ will double its footprint with an ambitious new expansion.

Function Overview

Dyson’s facilities team looks after the nuts and bolts of Dyson – our places, spaces, inside and out. With 3,000 people (and counting) that’s a challenging task. They are also our guardians of security, turning our buildings into fortresses that keep our secrets secret. Our daily environment can make all the difference, that’s why the facilities team works closely with every department, and everyone from Directors to graduates, to make Dyson a great place to work. And there are plenty of exciting projects planned in that department.


  • Co-ordinate and proactively manage a busy Directors diary whilst handling and rescheduling meetings, organising delegates and monitoring acceptances and declines, whilst prioritising and filtering out non-essential meetings

  • Record and communicate minutes and actions where required

  • Prepare materials and information for projects, meetings, power point presentations and reports

  • Write communications for appropriate audiences (internal and external)

  • Make and co-ordinate arrangements for stakeholders for various internal and external meetings

  • Manage and coordinate regular and complex travel itineraries including planning, accommodation, visa requirements and expenses

  • Deal with highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately

  • Support specific area(s) of the business including: Act as first point of contact for all administrative queries for Project and Estate business areas

  • Processing expenses

  • Raise and manage department purchase orders, and processing invoices on SAP

  • Collating and distributing relevant information

  • Project coordination and administration

  • Provide support and cover across the team when necessary i.e. holiday cover and busy periods.


The role requires a highly self-motivated, dedicated and forward thinking person who possesses good commercial awareness.

In addition, this role requires:

  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced environment providing admin support

  • Proven experience supporting a Director or Executive would be desirable

  • Confident self-starter, able to work proactively, think ahead and multi-task in a fast moving environment

  •  Exceptional communication skills

  • Highly organised, works well under pressure and a flexible team player

  • Ability to multi task

  • Essential PC skills to include SAP, Word, and Excel

  • Comfortable with a variety of workload

  • Strong attention to detail whilst obtaining confidentiality and discretion at all times
