A key member of the Finance team, this role is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of the monthly and fortnightly payroll, as well as assisting the Payroll Manager with budgeting and project work, payroll tax compliance and act as a support for the AP function.

Function Overview

The Finance team are critical to the success and stability of the business. The core finance pillars of Integrity & Commercial Success underpin an exceptional level of business partnering that delivers joint success for the organisation. The team’s focus is on the control environment and the accurate, timely reporting and analysis required to run the business, and report performance.


  • Payroll processing
  • Leave reporting
  • Accounting for payroll items including monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Processing AP invoices
  • Assist in preparing supplier payments and managing supplier accounts
  • Assist in managing employee data
  • Managing employee expense reimbursement
  • Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests
  • Other tasks as assigned


  • 2+ years working in payroll
  • System Savvy
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • FBT Exposure
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data
  • Up to date with new payroll and tax legislation
  • Award interpretation knowledge
  • SAP and Micropay Meridian experience desirable
