£35,000 - £40,000 + bonus, car, pension, 27 days holiday
Malmesbury, London, Bristol, Bath, United Kingdom
Three years ago 80% of Dyson’s business was full-sized vacuum cleaners. Today, its digital motor powered cordless vacuums, robots, Airblade hand dryers, bladeless fans, humidifiers, purifiers and heaters are powering its growth in 75 countries around the world. 2015 saw the addition of Jake Dyson Light to the portfolio, and in April 2016 Dyson took its biggest leap yet, revolutionising the world of Beauty with the launch of the Dyson Supersonic™ Hairdryer.
Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, we'll be hitting £4 billion in revenue. We'll have brought in 5,000 more people. And we'll have launched a further four brand new product categories. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.
As the Education Manager you will be responsible for the design and delivery of training through ‘academies’ for retailer store staff – the aim is to increase their product knowledge, awareness of the brand and help them deliver the ‘why Dyson’ message. You will work closely with the Dyson marketing teams and our retail partner to produce materials for store staff – this will be used in conjunction with training sessions and ways of selling to drive advocacy and brand awareness for all communication methods. You will create a bespoke sales approach for Dyson stylists in-store that will enable them to take customers from a product demonstration through to a sale.
As a proven Education Manager, you will come from a hairdressing background with a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2, with a preference for further qualifications. You will also be able to demonstrate strong leadership and people management experience, which will enable you to engage with both internal and external stakeholders. You must also have demonstrable experience analysing data and presenting your findings, as well as being able to create and roll out bespoke training materials.
