The IT Asset Manager will support, help shape and design Dyson’s end-to-end Software and Hardware Asset Management solutions. This role will act as the primary point of contact for SAM within Dyson globally

Accountabilities

The IT Asset Manager is responsible for tracking all existing and newly acquired IT asset components (e.g., software and licenses, hardware, maintenance contracts, and related assets) and their attributes. The IT Asset Manager is responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization. The IT Asset Manager will develop and implement processes and procedures for tracking Enterprise assets and for sustaining compliance with vendor contracts throughout the asset lifecycle.

Skills

We are looking for someone with at least five (5) years of experience as an IT Asset Manager in an Enterprise & global organisation, you will display experience in integrating asset management controls and processes in day to day IT operations and projects and software installation and software inventory systems such as Microsoft’s SCCM.

Knowledge of applicable software licensing terms, license models and enterprise maintenance and support contracts such as Microsoft (including 365), SAP, Oracle, VMWare, Citrix and Adobe as well as familiarity with IT asset management disciplines, data, and reporting tools with the ability to write/edit SQL queries.
