Market Overview

The Dyson finance team in Philippines will oversee all aspect of finance operations relating to activities in running Dyson’s high tech Dyson Digital Motor (DDM) facility, as well as operations pertaining to the manufacturing and exporting of finished goods produced by our contract manufacturer in Laguna in the Philippines.   

Function Overview

The team forms a vital backbone of Dyson – encompassing our inventory, accounts payable and receivable, planning and analysis, and statutory reporting and consolidation. Delivering rapid performance insights and forecasting to help us stay ahead of the competition. And, in an organisation that doesn’t stand still, the team’s work is a growing challenge of ever-evolving numbers.

Accountabilities

  • Organisation of travel arrangements for the whole of the finance team (arranging flights, taxis, visas, hotels) and making accommodation and transfer arrangements for visiting members of staff/contractors etc

  • Processing Purchase Orders on SAP

  • Document management

  • Stationery administration and ordering

  • Scheduling weekly system admin approvers 

  • Oversee and raise any issues with the scanners/copiers, repairing simple faults where possible and liaising with IT when necessary

  • Arranging one time vendor payments as and when required

  • Data entry – capturing business card data into Outlook

  • Challenge administrative processes as appropriate in order to implement more effective and creative solutions

  • Support with ad hoc tasks and projects as and when required

  • Cover other administrators in their absence

Skills

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).

  • SAP experience is an advantage.

  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills

  • Able to use own initiative

  • Energy, drive and enthusiasm with a positive, can-do attitude

  • Team player

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrate attention to detail

  • Calm, professional and personable manner
