Description

The Engineering Systems Specialist – ECAD, is required to provide advanced support for Dyson’s ECAD solutions as well as deliver ECAD related improvements for Mentor Graphics Products and other toolsets covering PCB design and manufacture, test rig design and wire harness design.

Accountabilities

The Engineering Systems ECAD Specialist is required to provide advanced support for Dyson’s ECAD solution as well as deliver ECAD related improvements - in particular for Mentor Graphics Applications, covering PCB design and manufacture, as well as additional areas involving electronics such as Test Rig Design and wire harness design.

The successful applicant will help improve the usage of the ECAD solutions by working with the super users to implement and maintain best practice. Providing advanced support and working to deliver significant improvements will ensure Dyson Engineers become more consistent, more efficient and more effective users of the solutions.

Skills

You will have in depth, hands on technical experience of a Mentor Graphics application or equivalent. You will be dynamic and self-motivated with a desire to produce the best technical solution possible. It is essential that you show a strong work ethic, an ability to learn quickly and be flexible in the tasks and activities undertaken. You will be able to deliver under pressure while showing attention to detail and sensitivity to the wider cultural differences across Dyson globally

Also we are looking for commercial experience with Valor Tools / ECAD library systems and 2D engineering drawing standards.
