Description

Our digital marketing team is growing and we have 2x Digital Marketing Specialist roles immediately available. 

The purpose of this role is to drive the digital marketing strategy and execution of floorcare category new product launches, and promotions. It is also responsible for management and execution of online media, social and content marketing.

Function Overview

The Marketing team consists of Brand, Retail Activation and Digital Marketing, Public Relations and Design Studio.

Accountabilities

As the Digital Marketing Specialist you will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and be responsible for the digital marketing strategy and execution to take Dyson's floorcare category to the next level spanning across online paid, owned and earned media.

Responsibilities include:
  • Drive the digital marketing strategy and execution that support Dyson’s floorcare campaigns, new product launches and ‘always on’ initiatives that support key business objectives: 
  • Collaborate with digital marketing manager and the brand manager to develop annual marketing plans and digital strategies across all of Dyson’s consumer categories and products 
  • Deliver campaigns across paid owned and earned media covering all of Dyson’s consumer categories and products
  • Manage digital activity and budgets across the floorcare portfolio for online media (focused on video, mobile), social media and content marketing
  • Manage and execute online media, social and content marketing 
  • Management of high impact online ‘Above the Line’ campaigns, including social and video advertising and content partnerships
  • Management of paid media agency Mindshare and checking media schedules to ensure accurate management of budgets, PO’s and discrepancies as they relevant to online campaigns across categories
  • Adapt global social media strategy and execution of campaigns to connect our core audience with our products 
  • Work in conjunction with agency partner and web admin to drive best in class Search Engine Optimisation and organic web results
  • Management of short term and long term influencer campaigns with PR Manager and agency 
  • Provide timely post campaign reporting and analysis for social, display and video ensuring learning’s are actively applied to future activities to maximise marketing return on investment

Skills

Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or similar field
  • Demonstrated experience in Digital Marketing role, client side or agency 
  • Proven ability to project manage and drive projects from conception through implementation and to analyse post-campaign results 
  • Solid knowledge of all digital marketing channels, tactics and their roles 
  • Experience using Web analytics tools and Content Management Systems beneficial

  • Passionate about digital, always looking to learn the most cutting-edge methodologies in web marketing and in e-commerce
  • Well organized with proficient time management skills and ability to prioritize and multitask with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive approach and attention to detail a must

  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external business partners
