Description

The Business Development Manager is tasked with delivering profitable growth and volume sales for Dyson's B2B business. You will identify and secure new business across Great Britain by creating and continually growing a pipeline of new accounts to deliver targeted sales growth.

Market Overview

Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, we'll be hitting £4 billion in revenue. We'll have brought in 5,000 more people. And we'll have launched a further four brand new product categories. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.

Function Overview

Always evolving, always challenging, our Dyson Professional teams are the connection between Dyson and the fast-paced world of our corporate partners. Now fully cross-category, Dyson Professional incorporates Dyson Airblade, Dyson Lighting, Environmental Control, and the hugely successful Dyson Supersonic. The Dyson Professional team is always finding new opportunities to get Dyson technology into new commercial partners.

Accountabilities

As Business Development Manager, you’ll focus on identifying and securing cross-category business opportunities across the South East of England, creating and growing a new account pipeline for Dyson Professional. Not only will you be responsible for driving new business opportunities for Dyson Airblade, you will also be looking to identify opportunities to drive sales of Dyson Lighting, Dyson Purifiers, and Dyson Supersonic.

Skills

With experience in a fast-paced senior role in B2B sales, you’ll have a successful track record of generating new business and exceeding KPIs along the way. You will also have lots of experience of managing high level commercial negotiations and working cross-functionally within your business. Most importantly you’ll be a self-starter who is motivated and tenacious, and can bring a decisive, positive approach to delivering results.

Benefits Overview

Dyson monitors the market to ensure competitive salaries and pension contributions. Beyond that, you’ll also enjoy a 30% bonus, fully-expensed company car and fuel card, and 27 days annual leave. But financial benefits are only the start of a Dyson career. Rapid professional growth, leadership development and new opportunities abound, driven by regular reviews and dynamic workshops. And with a vibrant culture, flexible working hours, the latest devices and a relaxed dress code reflecting our engineering spirit, it’s an exciting team environment geared to creativity, innovation and ambition.
